WVU to the SEC? Apparently someone Tweeted that it's a done deal and WVU is headed to the SEC. I usually stick with the old adage of "Where there's smoke, there's fire" and most of the time I'm right in the end. I said it with Rodriguez and it proved accurate not once, but twice. Is this the best move for WVU? If it is indeed a done deal, WVU leadership feels that it is--or at least it's the best option. Possibly the best of the bad options available? Only time will tell. We all know the SEC carries a different level of playing, as WVU discovered against Florida in the 1993-94 season Sugar Bowl. If this is indeed the destination, I will say it--at least the mindset of hard-nosed aggressive football was brought to WVU by Rich Rodriguez, even if he did leave a stench behind in his wake. One thing is for certain, you can't make everyone happy, but happy or not, WVU fans will watch every game.
